Mimosa was voted by Los Angeles Magazine as one of the top 25 restaurants in Los Angeles in the January 2005 issue. Mimosa's cuisine has been called “serious”, “correct”, and “true French Bistro” food. The marinated olives and foie gras have been called the “best in town” by Zagat Survey 2001. It's photo filled warm homey atmosphere have a distinct touch of France .
Owner: Jean-Pierre Bosc: Born and Raised in the Lyon region of France, Jean-Pierre opened Mimosa in 1997, bringing LA the authentic French Bistro. "No Truffles, No Caviar, No Bizarre Concoctions" is the motto of Mimosa.
Our current Maitre’D is Carol Leffler who has been with Mimosa for 5 years

Our second location, Cafe Des Artistes, is located in 1534 N. Mc Cadden Pl. Between Hollywood Blvd. and Sunset, one block east of Highland.
This Country French venue takes a "cool crowd" on a "trip to Paris" via "an old Cal bungalow" with spacious patios in front and back; created by the team of Silvio De Mori and Jean-Pierre Bosc (of Mimosa fame), this "cozy, warm" "hideaway" in Hollywood provides a "charming" setting (the "romantic garden" area earns the most kudos) for "excellent bistro fare" like "famously good mac 'n' cheese" and "perfect steaks and fries."
